What to expect when you arrive.
Where are we located?
We are located in a shopping center just off of Northwest Highway and 635 in Garland Texas. We are next door to the beauty supply shop. There is also a Scooter coffee drive through in the parking lot.
Please ring the doorbell when you arrive and our staff will let you in.
What are your hours?
We are currently opened Thursday night at 7pm until Monday evening at 7pm. Holiday hours may vary.
What is your exam fee?
Our exam fee is 140$ for the receptionist or technician to get you and your pet checked in, obtain a history and vitals, along with the doctor performing the physical exam on your pet. Everything else, an estimate will be provided for you based on the type of problem your pet is having. Payment is due at time of service.
Checking in?
We have a check-in form online that you may fill out that also includes some information about certain emergencies. If you fill this out, please call to let us know so we can have you in our system as you arrive.
Do you see exotics?
Yes, the owner does see exotics, however not every doctor working sees exotics emergencies. Please call ahead of time for any exotic emergencies.
What payment options do you offer?
Emergency Pet Clinic of Texas offers these options at time of service:

- All major Credit/Debit cards
- Care Credit

Do you require payment at the time of visit?
We will require payment at time of visit and services rendered
Do you accept CareCredit?
We do accept CareCredit. It is a medical credit card that can be used for medical, dental, and veterinary expenses. For more information, please ask our staff or visit the website at www.CareCredit.com.
We use VetBilling.com to manage payment plans. We do not offer any payment plan directly through the clinic.
- VetBilling is an interest free payment option that allows you to make bi-weekly or monthly payments. There is a onetime start-up fee that is non-refundable along with a very small payment plan fee for each payment. There is no penalty or fees to pay this off early.
- In order to be eligible for a payment plan:
- We require a soft credit check. This credit check does not show up on your credit report nor does it affect your credit score.
- The onetime start up fee will be process right away with a credit or debit card. If you would like to continue to use this form of payment for future payments you may; or you can add on a secondary bank account number for following payments.
- A down payment %, the number of months to pay off the amount, and when the first payment will start will be set by the Emergency Pet Clinic of Texas.
- If payments are not made on time late fees and return fees are assessed.
