These ladies were amazing with my cat, Dutch. He had to stay through the weekend for a urinary blockage, and I received constant updates from the Doctors as they worked to get him stable. They set my cat up beautifully for transfer and gave helpful advice and support for future maintenance. Stacy was amazing and called to check-up on Dutch way after the visit. This staff was professional, friendly, and empathetic the whole way through! We really appreciate all their help.

On Friday evening we brought our senior dog, Maggie, in as she had lost the ability to stand/walk. We brought her in and from the moment we were greeted at the door (I'm so sorry I did not get the woman's name who was there that night helping us - it was a bit overwhelming) we knew this place was great. Such caring, empathetic people here. Dr. Jacci explained the findings of the ultrasound and what the appropriate action was. Which, unfortunately, was to end her suffering. Again, both her and the other woman were so incredibly kind throughout the process and explained everything thoroughly. We were never rushed, got to spend lots of time loving on our sweet girl and saying goodbye. It was a difficult night for our family, but we are so so thankful for the kind treatment we received. Thank you both, so much, I know it was just as difficult for you but you helped us through this painful experience.

Max was diagnosed with CHF in November 2024 and began medication to manage it. As the disease progresses, additional medications are typically needed, but he remained stable—until suddenly, he wasn’t. On Sunday, February 23rd, around 10 p.m., I noticed Max’s breathing was slightly labored while he slept. By midnight, he had hopped off the bed, unable to get comfortable. I saw him stretching his neck out to breathe—an alarming sign. Without hesitation, we rushed to the Emergency Pet Clinic of Texas in Garland. Upon arrival, Raul greeted us in the lobby and immediately took us back. By then, Max’s gums were pale, and he was struggling even more to breathe. Dr. Piet and Raul sprang into action without hesitation. Dr. Piet explained everything that needed to happen to save Max’s life and provided an estimate, which I quickly approved. I stayed for about four hours before I had to leave. When I left, Max was stable, receiving lifesaving oxygen. Throughout the night and into the morning, Dr. Piet kept me informed. Around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, I checked in and received a picture of Max peacefully sleeping in her office. He had survived—and he was coming home. That afternoon, when I arrived at the clinic, Dr. Piet and Stacy shared the wonderful news that Max had eaten almost an entire can of GI wet food. His recovery was nothing short of remarkable. Max received the highest quality of care and compassion from everyone at the Emergency Pet Clinic of Texas in Garland. Dr. Piet is not only highly skilled and confident as an emergency veterinarian, but she is also compassionate with the animals and empathetic with their families. If you ever need an emergency veterinarian, I highly recommend Dr. Piet and the team at the Emergency Pet Clinic of Texas in Garland.

I am so glad I found this facility. It can be hard and sometimes financially difficult when you have a pet emergency, but Dr Jacci had our best interests at heart the whole time. I am thankful we still have our fur baby around and am thankful for the attentive care and real attention we received here. The communication was constant and truly caring. I am indebted for the way we were taken care of and were provided all options that fit our budget as best as possible. Thankful to find an ER vet that is in it for the right reasons and provided us the best care and all the help we needed to get our baby back to health.

We brought our less-than-two-week-old French Bulldog to this clinic after he aspirated and was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia through X-rays. Given our past experience of losing a French Bulldog to the same condition, we didn’t have high expectations. However, from start to finish, the team here was nothing short of exceptional—professional, attentive, and compassionate. They kept him overnight, provided top-notch care, and thoroughly educated us on at-home management. Thanks to these amazing ladies, after 24 hours in their care, our puppy was discharged home. We are thrilled to say that he is now three weeks old, thriving, and at a perfect weight! I can’t thank them enough for their dedication and expertise. If I could give them a 10-star rating, I absolutely would! I highly recommend this clinic and will return without hesitation if we ever face another emergency. Thank you for everything!
